SansJ#IntroductionSansJ is a Social Search Engine that utilises traditional algorithmic-based search engines and adds a social side to it.SansJ refers to "Sans-Junk".The site can be viewed at http://sansj.com .#Isn't Google good enough??Google though amazing, trust me, is not good enough for certain queries. In my opinion humans are better at judgment than AI (at least most of the times),but, humans are sometimes just independently right. What would seem to be right for one person might not sound correct for another. So a mix of Human and Computer powered search technology seems to me as a great way to solve the Search problem that many like me experience. As with any Search technology, the more the datasets, better the results.SansJ will improve with more active users using and contributing via comments on a regular basis. #How to use it?Simple, signup for an account here http://trk7.com/ask/signup.php or try it out using the free account available here: http://trk7.com/ask/index.php and in three easy steps you would able to use/contribute-to it.
FeaturesSearch by Country:Most Social Search Engines, ignore the fact that people try to search for info that is more pertinent to their location.SansJ doesn't make this mistake, at the moment one can search Australia(AU), France (FR), Canada (CA), Germany (DE), United Kingdom (UK) and of course, all the world from the main page!Boolean Search:Can use +, -, * and also ""(not fully functional) to narrrow your search results.Comments:One can add comments related to their query, and, also the site that they have been served. This way we can share information more effectively. For instance someone could comment on how accurate the information in a site is and also provide additional links in the comments field.Interesting info about a page:When one queries SansJ and is presented with some results, one can see the search terms that are relevant to that URL.For example a search for ajax gallery will return a few results and looking at the first URL we find that the URL was relevant for queries like ajax examples and ajax demo.Explicit Voting:One votes for a page after actually looking at the actual page, rather than just looking at the summary of the page thus producing more relevant votes/results.#Additional links
